Visit Us!

We invite you to join us for an unforgettable experience…

Come tour our farm, meet our staff and share in community over a freshly prepared farm-to-table vegetarian lunch. Nestled in the mountains of Las Marías, a rural community in central western Puerto Rico, Plenitud PR is situated on a 15-acre farm that includes the Arenas River, Superadobe structures built by our team, an agricultural production center, and more. This tour will offer you an opportunity to see, hear, touch, and taste the beautiful gifts the Earth provides in a peaceful, natural setting.

We hope our visitors walk away from each tour with new sustainability skills, and the inspiration to utilize them in their own lives.

What to Expect

This walking tour of the Plenitud PR grounds will give you an opportunity to see first-hand how we practice sustainability techniques in harmony with nature. Throughout the 1 hour walk, you will visit our “Tulsi House” flower and herb garden, food forests, tropical fruit trees, “Clementine” greenhouse, Shalom Center packing and processing facility, and our animal husbandry areas. Your guide will also share with you about how we apply rainwater harvesting, bioconstruction, agroecology, and permaculture design in our daily activities at Plenitud PR. Plenitud PR is the only organization in Puerto Rico offering all of these resiliency practices in one location.

For those interested, there will be an opportunity to harvest fruits and vegetables to enjoy as part of your farm-to-table lunch. Please note that harvest opportunities vary based on what is in season.

After the tour, you will wind down the hill to our main Teaching Center to prepare for a trip to the Arenas river (season and terrain dependent). Here you will have time to read, meditate, and/or bathe in the refreshing water.

Finally, the group will share in a healthy farm-to-table vegetarian lunch made with ingredients from our farm and other local farms in the area.
