At our educational farm, we invite individuals and groups to come with curiosity and openness—to learn new skills, connect with the land, and take part in real-world responses to today’s environmental and social challenges.
Grounded in environmental stewardship, individual and community well-being, and hands-on learning, our experiences offer a ray of opportunities to grow food, build with natural materials, cook with intention, and live in community. This immersive approach invites participants to not only learn about sustainable living—but to fully live the experience.

Educational Workshops
Our workshops offer hands-on learning in topics like bioconstruction, agroecology, herbal medicine, permaculture, and more. Taught by local experts in these topics, these sessions are designed to inspire and equip participants with tools to live more sustainably and in harmony with the land.
Farm Tours
Explore our tropical teaching center farm in Las Marías and see sustainability in action. We offer monthly public tours (October–May) and private, customizable tours year-round for schools, groups, and organizations.
Service Learning Trips
We host customizable, immersive service learning trips for university, school, and community groups interested in sustainability, permaculture, and collaborative work. Participants learn while serving through hands-on projects on the farm and with community partners.
Community-based Service
Our community-based service programs support long-term partnerships with local schools, elders, and farms in Las Marías. Volunteers contribute to initiatives like community gardens, rainwater installations, partner farm support, and activities with elders and youth.
