Yashira first visited Plenitud PR to be part of the team of bio-builders for building the first Superadobe structure on the farm. She automatically felt that she began growing not only as a bio-builder and a permaculture practitioner, but also spiritually. She always felt like home at Plenitud PR, like she was with family. Ever since then, she has been part of Plenitud PR and found a place in our hearts. Yashira’s favorite place is every river. She works in the structural bamboo farm & educational project Bambú Pueblo on the weekends, and during the week as an engineer & surveyor for road construction & repairs projects after Hurricane Maria. She is the only woman inspector on the team! Yashira loves gardening, dancing, and exploring the forests and waterfalls of Puerto Rico.
