Originally from the town of Añasco, Puerto Rico, I have always loved playing with the soil and with all that it provides when we serve and care for it. Planting is one of my favorite parts of the process, although, to be honest, I still enjoy dancing around the kitchen even more.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen, but it was when I decided to start cooking with plants that my relationship with both cooking and nature truly changed. Since then, I have learned to appreciate every part of the process—from composting, seeds, and planting, all the way to having the food on our table.

I live with gratitude for every one of God’s works and for the abundance He provides. I simply try to place myself in the middle, open and available to listen to His guidance and serve from there.

I have been serving with Plenitud since 2024, and I continue to be a big fan of everything that happens here. To me, Plenitud is a place where food, the land, service, and community come together in a very special way.
