Our Mission
Demonstrating Love through Service

Plenitud Puerto Rico is a 501c3 non-profit educational farm and teaching center dedicated to service, sustainability, and community. Through service, we find our greatest joy by giving equal value to the needs of others. Through sustainability, we help each other be more resilient and prepared for increasing global challenges, while minimizing our impact on Mother Earth. And through community, we see how much stronger we are together, unified in our shared purpose.

Through programs and initiatives grounded in this mission, we facilitate the skills, knowledge, and inspiration to encourage inner growth and to live in harmony with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. 

Our Values

Plenitud PR aspires to not only live our mission through diverse service and educational programming but also to exemplify a community of people collaborating in a harmonious and purposeful way. 

These are our guiding values.

  • Compassion - We value an atmosphere of compassion both at our farm and teaching center, where many of our staff and volunteers live in community, and in the many settings where we come together to serve. We encourage an environment of compassionate communication and action with all living beings, striving for non judgment and an open mind.

  • Gratitude - No matter what experience we may be going through, we believe there is room to be grateful. Each moment before us offers a chance for us to evolve, whether it is an interaction with another or with ourselves. Going through our day-to-day experience is a privilege we hope to never take for granted, and for this we are always thankful.

  • Simplicity - We believe that we all thrive when we maintain focus on the things that really matter–love, service, and inner harmony–and that simple living is a means to achieve that balance. We care for Mother Earth not only through sustainable technologies, but also by adopting a lifestyle that minimizes our impact on Her resources, and seeks to give as much as it takes.

  • Unity in diversity - We highly value being part of a community of people with diverse experiences, from diverse backgrounds, experiencing diverse identities and cultural/social contexts. We believe that honoring diversity is integral to having a meaningful and harmonious community experience. 

We also recognize that we experience great satisfaction and happiness when we utilize our diverse experiences to find common ground, and to seek that which unifies us rather than what separates or distinguishes us from one another. Through our service and our spiritual or wellness practices, we encourage all team members to continually make this connection, and to reinforce our unity and shared interests in all we do.
