Last week University of California at San Diego (UCSD) shared their knowledge and enthusiasm with Plenitud. Students built two new soil irrigation garden containers, shared a service learning day with a local group of kids from an organization called “La Via”, and cooked a delicious meal on the outdoor rocket stove. The group also took a trip to Rio Tanama, where they boated through a cave, saw some bats, and swam in the river. Pictures of the group engaging in service learning on the farm are below. Thanks for such a great visit UCSD! Come back soon!
